By using the Eduforge website (eduforge.in) or the Eduforge platform, you agree to these terms.

Use of the platform

Eduforge is provided as a software service for educational institutions. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.

Subscription billing and renewal

Eduforge is offered on annual subscription plans. Pricing depends on the selected plan, school size, and any additional modules or services agreed during onboarding. Subscription renewal is due annually. Schools will be notified before renewal is due.

Cancellation

Schools may cancel their subscription by contacting Eduforge before the renewal date. Cancellation terms, data access duration after cancellation, and any applicable conditions will be as agreed in the service agreement at the time of onboarding.

Refund policy

Refund eligibility is subject to the terms agreed during the school's onboarding and subscription confirmation. Eduforge does not offer automatic refunds for unused subscription periods unless explicitly agreed in writing. Disputes should be raised within 30 days of billing.

Support scope

Standard support includes guidance on platform usage, troubleshooting, and onboarding assistance during business hours (9 AM to 5 PM). Support is available via WhatsApp, email, and phone. On-site visits, extended training beyond the agreed scope, and emergency support outside business hours are not included in standard plans.

Customisation scope

Standard plans include the configured modules and supported mobile access as discussed during demo and onboarding. Custom report formats, custom modules, white-label setup, hardware integration, iOS app work, app-store publishing, and custom native app changes are not included in standard plans and must be discussed and agreed separately.

Data export on cancellation

Schools may request a data export before or shortly after cancellation. The format, scope, and timeline of the data export will depend on the nature of the data and the school's subscription status. Eduforge recommends requesting data export before the cancellation date.

School responsibility for user accounts

The school is responsible for managing user accounts, passwords, and role assignments within the platform. Eduforge is not responsible for data access issues caused by incorrect role setup, shared login credentials, or unauthorised internal access managed by the school's own team.

Payment gateway charges

If online payment collection is enabled, payment gateway transaction charges, settlement fees, and gateway setup fees are not included in the Eduforge subscription. These are borne by the school or the payment gateway provider as per their terms.

SMS and WhatsApp charges

If WhatsApp or SMS communication is enabled, provider charges, API setup charges, and per-message costs are not included in the Eduforge subscription and are billed separately based on usage.

Third-party service limitations

Eduforge is not responsible for downtime, policy changes, or limitations of third-party services such as WhatsApp Business API providers, SMS gateways, or payment gateways. These services operate under their own terms and conditions.

Downtime and maintenance

Eduforge aims to maintain platform availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Unplanned downtime due to hosting, infrastructure, or third-party dependencies is outside Eduforge's direct control.

Changes to pricing or plans

Eduforge may update pricing or plan details from time to time. Existing subscribers will be notified before any pricing change affects their renewal. Schools subscribing to current plans will be grandfathered at their agreed pricing until their subscription renewal.

Data and privacy

School data entered into Eduforge remains the property of the school. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled, stored, and protected.

Changes to terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated to active subscribers.
